Keke Operators Loan Pre-Qualification Form

Keke Operators Loan Pre-Qualification Form

The objective of this survey is threefold:

  1. Ascertain the number of vehicle owners eligible for our CNG conversion loan program,
  2. Determine the number of conversion centers required to convert the vehicles of our loan beneficiaries, and
  3. Determine the ideal number of CNG filling stations needed to provide gas to our CNG loan recipients.

Why Gas Vehicles?

Cost Effectiveness
CNG is generally cheaper than petrol and diesel, resulting in significant cost savings for consumers. We shall plan to retail CNG between N100 to N150 per liter equivalent in the 6 geopolitical zones.
Lower fuel taxes
In many countries, including Nigeria, CNG is subject to lower fuel taxes compared to petrol and diesel, making it even more affordable.
Reduced fuel consumption
CNG engines are more efficient, resulting in lower fuel consumption and increased mileage.
Environmental friendliness
CNG produces significantly lower emissions of greenhouse gases, particulate matter, and pollutants compared to petrol and diesel, contributing to improved air quality and reduced carbon footprint.
Bi-Fuel CNG Vehicles
CNG vehicles are bi-fuel which means they run on both petrol and gas. typically the vehicle starts with petrol and automatically switches to gas after a few minutes and will continue to run on gas until the gas is exhausted before switching back to petrol.
Mono Fuel CNG/LNG Trucks or Buses
Mono fuel CNG/LNG trucks or buses enjoy the most savings over Diesel or dual-fuel CNG/Diesel trucks
Quieter operation
CNG engines operate more quietly than petrol and diesel engines, reducing noise pollution.
Extended engine life
CNG combustion results in cleaner combustion chambers and reduced engine wear, leading to longer engine life and lower maintenance costs.
Improved engine performance
CNG engines provide better torque and power characteristics, resulting in smoother acceleration and enhanced overall performance.
Reduced risk of fuel theft
CNG is stored in secure and sealed cylinders, minimizing the risk of fuel theft compared to petrol and diesel, which can be siphoned off from vehicles.
Domestic resource utilization
CNG can be sourced domestically, reducing dependence on imported petroleum products and enhancing energy security.
Diverse sources of production
CNG can be produced from various sources, including natural gas reserves, biogas, and renewable sources, supporting energy diversification and sustainability.
Infrastructure compatibility
Existing petrol and diesel infrastructure, such as filling stations, can be easily modified to accommodate CNG dispensers, facilitating the transition to CNG.
International alignment
Adoption of CNG aligns Nigeria with global efforts to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and promote cleaner energy alternatives

Why IPMAN?

Accessibility of CNG filling stations
With IPMAN's extensive network of over 30,000 retail outlets, CNG filling stations will be easily accessible to consumers across the country. This ensures that individuals and businesses can conveniently access CNG as an alternative fuel source.
Auto workshops as conversion centers
IPMAN's existing auto workshops in every station can be utilized as conversion centers for retrofitting vehicles to run on CNG. This setup streamlines the conversion process and makes it more convenient for vehicle owners.
Safety measures
IPMAN will implement stringent safety measures by only allowing certified retrofitted cars or gas vehicles to purchase gas from their stations. This ensures that vehicles using CNG have undergone proper conversion and meet the necessary safety standards, reducing the risk of accidents or incidents.
Technological safeguards
IPMAN will employ advanced technology to prevent unverified vehicles from refueling with CNG. This ensures that only authorized and appropriately converted vehicles can access CNG at IPMAN stations, enhancing safety and preventing unauthorized usage.
Reduced fuel costs
By participating in the IPMAN CNG conversion loan scheme, individuals and businesses can benefit from the cost advantages of using CNG. As CNG is generally cheaper than petrol and diesel, this conversion can lead to significant fuel cost savings.
Environmental benefits
Switching to CNG as a fuel source helps reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants. By participating in the IPMAN CNG conversion loan scheme, individuals and businesses can actively contribute to environmental conservation and promote sustainable practices. Monthly GHG reports will be sent to each participating vehicle
